Data Mapping: Superstitions Infographic

I created a 20x30 poster highlighting superstitions that will either lead you to good or bad luck. This was a behavioral mapping project for a class where I took a broad survey and tracked the wide range of superstitions people have and how they inadvertently become habits that affect their every day life.

I've gotten hundreds of responses and compiled the data. I found most of it comical, and then I realized many of these old wives' tales have been passed down throughout my own family. These inherited traditions somehow get through generations without anyone ever knowing where they originated; yet people seem live by them anyway. This poster helps illustrate how absurd these superstitions sound.
